New Designers

New Designers is an annual showcase of the very best in graduate design from universities around the UK. New Designers is affiliated with scores of leading companies and organisations which recognise the value of design education and its contribution to the UK's creative industries.  The graduates of BA (Hons) Computer Animation Arts have won multiple awards at New Designers and secured internships, commissions and employment.

Computer Animation Arts / Winner Best Stand 2015

Based on the famous running-gag from the Wile E. Coyote cartoons, the stand from BA (Hons) Computer Animation Arts wowed the judges with its 'fantastic creativity' and 'well planned execution'. It's the third time the course has collected the 'Best Stand' award, having previously collected the gong in 2010 and 2013.

Our art-deco cinema stand, complete with usherettes and popcorn, was praised by the New Designers' judges for its "brilliantly imaginative and clever presentation of animation and illustration where visitors are invited to take a seat, spend time with the work and really engage with it."
